For Lake San Antonio North Shore: I stopped at this park on a weekend in January. I was the only camper in the entire park. The place looked seriously abandoned by the camping public. Sites were not trodden as is usual. Roads were full of wind blown debris. Half of the loops were blocked. However, restrooms were reasonably clean. Hook ups functioned. There were trash bin’s available. There were no amenities whatsoever. Boat ramps were closed, hundreds of feet from water. There are no hiking trails. Cost for camping was very expensive. $45 for a primitive site. $50 for electricity. $55 for full hookups. I’m not going to be going out there again.

For Lake San Antonio North Shore: Lake San Antonio for the most part is a wonderful place to visit. The campgrounds are plenty, The people in the area are very friendly. There is no problems with crimes. There are boat launches and area bathrooms. Barbeque pits at campsites. A store at the lake. If it is not open there is a local store before entering the lake area and a local restaraunt just a few miles away. The only setback is sometimes the water is really low. Due to the dam water being released for reasons such as agriculture in local areas. But it doesnt take long to replenish the waters. So, if you inquire at a time when the water is low, be sure to check back soon, to see if there has been any changes. Especially after a wet winter. There are also holiday events and the famous flower festival every year.
