For Matanuska River Park: Nice small park. Sites are a bit tight and not well delineated. Very friendly staff. Small airport next door. Fortunately they were landing, so power was back and not too loud. I would definitely stay here again.

For Matanuska River Park: The campground itself was very nice.
However, the online reservation system does not update in real time. There are sites showing as available online, which were picked up FCFS by someone else. Ive seen this scenario in at least two of the campsites during my stay.
It is thus possible to reserve a site, but have another camper all ready in it.

For Matanuska River Park: Large site with grass. 27$ with elec. Many trees and closed to small forest. I recommend.

For Matanuska River Park: Very nice park. No pull thorough sites with electronic but could get our 36 foot super C with a 14 foot trailer in a spot. The sites are grass and open . There is a bit of road noise but not bad. The park attendants are friendly and very helpful.

For Matanuska River Park: Great little campground. Upper level sites are grassy, electric only. Lower level are dry sites but beautiful wooded setting. Has a water station and dump station. Have stayed here a few times, one of my favorite places in the area. Better than any of the RV parks in the valley!

For Matanuska River Park: The setting for this campground is very nice. Gr [bad] sites with picnic tables, wide lots. For the price, this is a great place to stop on way through.
