For Sunrise RV Resort: Stayed overnight on Oct 3,2024. The campground hosts met us at the entrance of the campground to show us where to park our camper just after dark. They were so welcoming and kind. A great place for an overnight stop while traveling on I-55

For Sunrise RV Resort: Great overnight stop!! The lady was super friendly on the phone and everything was really quiet and convenient!! We have a great place to stop passing though!

For Sunrise RV Resort: A reasonable overnight location. Other than my Class C, saw nothing but 5th wheels that appeared to be staying long term. Had a "trailer park" atmosphere for that reason, but I didn't feel unsafe. It's far enough from I55 to be really quiet but close enough to not be too far off course. The layout is confusing. I drove into a drive that required backing out of trying to find the office. If you stay, best to call ahead and have a slot number then just go right to it, then call again to tell owners you're ready to pay. Go to the right when coming in, not toward the sign that says "Office", to avoid getting stuck or going wrong way. Most slots are partially paved, and the owners are pretty nice. May be the only full hook-up in the vicinity, which is why I gave it a 3. 20 bucks for full hook-up isn't too bad.

For Sunrise RV Resort: Easy access from I-55. Bare bones park real good for an overnight stay. Very quiet and well kept. The price is right at $20 for full hookup with 50 amp. Cash only! We camped with a 40 motorhome towing, 55 ft total and fit well into site 16. Satellite reception was easy and Verizon was 4 bars / 4G. The owner said they were working on installing WiFi for every site. The owner was very friendly and even offered us a ride if we wanted to go somewhere so we won't need to unhook the toad. We didn't need to do that but appreciated the offer. They do have showers and laundry. If you want an overnight stop without all the extras you wouldn't use anyway, this would be just the stop for you.
