For Pioneer RV Park: OK, if you just must park the rig to dump tanks, fill water, recharge batteries and can tolerate being packed in like sardines, this will work. It’s a gravel lot with utilities. Every aspect is tight. Hwy noise is loud.

For Pioneer RV Park: We found this park to be quite accommodating. We were traveling with friends who needed power and we didn’t. They put us next to each other in electric sites and charged me for dry camping ($20). Bathrooms were clean. Didn’t use the shower but they looked nice. The camping area in back up the hill was quite nice. No road noise but a few planes flew over quite late. A red fox walked right by our campsite! Beautiful. This place has gas (3 cents off for customers), propane, car wash. Would definitely stay here again

For Pioneer RV Park: This park had been recommended to us, and it’s probably OK if you don’t mind being on top of your neighbor. Management is far from welcoming. We arrived 2 days before our reservation and, as we (our 40 ft, RV and our friends’ truck & camper) could not be accommodated, we were told to go elsewhere (with no suggestion as to where). Our reservation sheets were then torn up. As well, there was no record of the Skagway train reservation our friends had made in February. Customer service is definitely lacking! We went down the road to Cariboo RV Park which was wonderful!

For Pioneer RV Park: Since the park wasn’t busy, we were in one of those double spots by ourselves so had plenty of room. Can see how tight it would be if full. There was a lot of highway noise starting around 6:30 am. Glad they have recycling! Had no problem with hookups at all. Electricity was fine.

For Pioneer RV Park: Full hook up sites are packed in very close, Can be difficult to get a large unit in your space.Had issues with Wi-Fi, good signal but only 300 MB per day allowed. First day we were fine the second day we used up our allowance in 15 minsAnd we were not doing anything different than the day before, just checking emails and responding. . They would not do anything to give us additional time but we could buy additional time.

For Pioneer RV Park: Contacted the park for a reservation using their online form, because we did not have good cellphone service. 24 hours later we had not gotten a response and cell service was better, so I called. Oh, so sorry we’re full. I will not try this camp on the return since customer service is totally lacking. When someone contacts you for a reservation the VERY least you can do is respond.

Ray

For Pioneer RV Park: This park has two areas. The full hookup is in the lower section in an open setting. Units are very close. With slides out you will be within a couple of feet with your neighbor. We stayed in the upper area in the trees and further apart. No sewer hookups. Electric is a big problem here. 30 amp circuit but with only 13 amps of demand voltage dropped to 103. Talked to the park people and they swear voltage should be 110 volts plus or minus 10 percent. When I mentioned that was not correct ( have a electrical background) they just said she could cancel the site and I could go to another camp ground. You might want to avoid this park.
