For Fountain Of Youth RV Park: After reading the reviews we were hesitant about staying here. Yes the grounds certainly need so TLC but the cost $43 night and use of two huge natural hot springs pools far outweighed the bad reviews. The new owners were very friendly. They are fixing things but it takes time. To me, it was worth the price. I gave it 3 stars just because it is a bit run down. But it was clean, no loud music and dogs under control.

The Family Can

For Fountain Of Youth RV Park: Waaaaay too expensive for what amounts to an overgrown field with a hot spring (think Tin Cup driving range). The kids loved the hot springs but honestly for $58 (2 adults and 3 kids) this is a rip off. Would have left, but got in after dark. Freight trains run just 10 feet from the ever park. Skip this one.

For Fountain Of Youth RV Park: For $52 with tax for 2 adults and 2 kids we did not feel this was worth the price at all. :( the hot springs were nice and beautiful, but the whole park smells of sulfur. The laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers but at the time of our visit 1 washer was broken and 3 dryers were broken. The sites were very close together and overgrown. The sites also had lots of trees that were hard to maneuver around with our slides. Hard to get our 40ft in and out of park. Owners were nice and helpful but park needs work and for us it wasn't worth the money for a one night stop through town. (Side note about town - The dinosaur museum was also a disappointment. For quoting itself as the best museum in the US it was very small. Kids were disappointed.)

Stephanie

For Fountain Of Youth RV Park: First RV park. Loved the natural hot spring pool. Showers and bathrooms were clean. It looks a little dated but the managers/hosts were super nice offering advice and even a family recipe for sun burn. Some folks complain about the train but it did not bother us and the kids love to hear the horn during the day. Also has access to fishing via a steep bank. Oh and very pet friendly!!

Penny

For Fountain Of Youth RV Park: Huge natural hot mineral pool is very relaxing but could use some spiffing up. New owners are working deligently to bring the park back to acceptable standards. Train runs right behind campground but we had none the night we tent camped there. Rates include access to the pool. Bathrooms are ok & showers are 25 cents for 2 minutes.

Wayne

For Fountain Of Youth RV Park: There is a much nicer hot spring pool at the state park and it is free.

The railroad runs within feet of the campground.

Gloria

For Fountain Of Youth RV Park: Best feature is the large mineral hot spring pools for soaking and swimming. The first pool is too hot to enter (and there are signs warning of this), the second pool is a good soaking temperature, while the third cooler pool is perfect for playing and exercise. Sites have hook ups, and there is laundry and showers. Park is by a railroad track that had trains twice a night, trains did not blow their horns but did wake me up.
