For KOA Journey Rock Springs: What a crummy place this is. All gravel, no grass anywhere and no shade. There are big rigs lined up side-by-side just a few feet apart. The only amenity at our site is a picnic table with peeling paint. I am surprised KOA allows a place to be this awful. Plenty of train noise and interstate noise here. The scenery is a large tank farm for Airgas. The sites are not level enough and most of the big rigs have their front wheels 3 to 6 inches off the ground. The WiFi is insufficient for the park size. We get only an occasional one bar on T-Mobile.

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: Staying in 38" fifth wheel for 2 nights. Easy to get to from the interstate and pull through SHARED sites. It wasnt the best to share but better than looking at the waste. Great town with lots to do right there.Would come again to enjoy the area but would book sooner to get a private site with fence and patio. Pol and rec room on site that we did use.

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: Excellent staff very friendly and helpful. All gravel large pull through (fairly)level spots with full hookup. Pool and laundry facilities. Bath house could use a refresh but was clean. A bit pricey at $54 a night but I guess that might be the going rate for a KOA these days.

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: Clean, safe pull-through spots with full hook ups. Nice wooden barriers between sites for added privacy. Friendly staff. Nice, fenced dog run area with grass for our puppy. Poop bags fully stocked but unfortunately not everyone is considerate and picks up after their pet. This is an all gravel campground. Spots are not fully level so be prepared. New evergreens have been planted. We didn’t use any of the facilities, but laundry and restrooms and showers were available. We arrived late and our reservation was posted at the office door with an excellent map to our spot. We will definitely stop again in our travels.

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: This is a campground built on gravel but there are views of the colored hills behind. So I would say it is a unique geology there.
Even though it's close to I-80, it was pretty quiet considering.
We had full hookups and they worked perfectly.
The staff was very friendly. Good store as well.
We used laundry and bathrooms, very clean.
I recommend a drive to Flaming Gorge Dam (91 mile circle around the lake) but can go just 10 miles to first overlook.

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: The staff was great. If given a choice I will always stay in a KOA that has a K9 Kamp - off leash area for dogs. This does have such a fenced in area for our 1 year labradoodle, in fact the best one I’ve seen. Lack of gravel appears to be something they are working on. Well stocked store. Easy in/out. WIFI seems better than most. Good cable. We will be back here.
