For Tie City Campground: Excellent campground. We camped in our 25ft TT and had plenty of room. Sites are pretty far apart so you don’t really hear your neighbors. Pit toilets were very clean and the trash is easy to get to. Hiking trails right off the campground so you don’t have to drive anywhere once you are set up.

For Tie City Campground: We came to camp for 2 nights on our way home to OK. We like it so much we are staying another night. I love all the pine trees, Aspen, and hiking trails. Campsites are not crowded.

For Tie City Campground: The campground is definitely open. The entrance is off the back of the parking lot. It is set up for tents and small TT. I have 30 foot TT and there was one site that I could fit in. It seemed to be a popular place for hikers and bikers. The elevation is around 8600 feet. Be careful opening containers that have pressure in them from lower altitudes.

For Tie City Campground: This campground appeared to be permanently closed when we were there in June 2016. Since it was 6 pm when we arrived we just dry camped in the trailhead parking lot. Beautiful view of Medicine Bow National Forrest.
