For Wheeling Island Casino: June, 2022..Driving around the parking lot, we saw a security guard and asked where we could park (our rig is 24 ft no toad.) He said anywhere you want to park. Found a cool, grassy shaded area in corner of parking lot across from Casino entrance. The weather was perfect. Lots of fun in the casino and a quiet night for sleeping. I'd love to go back and spend a few days exploring Wheeling Island. Never knew most of Wheeling, including Casino, is on an island in the Ohio River.

For Wheeling Island Casino: Sept 2017: parking allowed in parking lot H. They allow trucks also and 2 came in and idled all night so noisy. Then another trucker decided to work on his truck at 3am and was pounding on something for 1/2 hour. So not a good night for sleeping. Casino was nice. $20 free play for new members. Watched the greyhound races in the evening. Suggest not using GPS. If it takes you downtown to cross 10th street bridge, it is only an 8ft. Clearance. Get by way of 70. T-Mobile coverage.

For Wheeling Island Casino: Quiet. Level. Close to both sides oh the Ohio River. The casino and dog track are clean and well staffed (I'm not a gambler). Everyone I encountered has been friendly, both at the casino and around town. Nice place to stop over or spend a couple days exploring. AT&T cell coverage is good.
