For Mountain Lake Campground: Area 4 is one of our favorite campsites, ever. Will NOT return as the mile long access road cause significant damage to our Class C doing less than 5 miles per hour. Took 3 days and a lot of money to repair our RV. Management could not care less. Such a shame as all they have to do is fix the roads with crush and run stone. Not the boulders they use now to “repair” the road.

For Mountain Lake Campground: We have a 35’ class A drove car to first spot could get motorhome in but getting out would have bottomed it. They found us another and so uneven. We stayed but talked to locals that were there and almost all sites are uneven. We won’t stay again but it was dark and quiet park.

For Mountain Lake Campground: Very nice campground, each lot has a picnic table and rock ring fire pit. Quiet and the lake was really nice, but already drained, however still accessible for kayaking at the marina; which is also closed. Weather was in the 80’s for this first weekend in October trip, so there were gnats around; wondering what it is like during the summer? Pet Friendly and had Halloween theme events for the kids on Saturday. Will definitely be back!!

For Mountain Lake Campground: Very nice campground and beautiful setting. Friendly camp hosts led us to site. We had a beautiful and spacious water and electric site on gravel but was unlevel, used blocks. The only other negative was check in took way too long. We were tired and just wanted to get set up. Too many forms to sign, etc. Surely it shouldn't be so lengthy. Other than that, very nice and would definitely come back.

For Mountain Lake Campground: First time east of Colorado. First "workamping" experience. Workamping at Mountain Lake Campground for the season. This place is beautiful! 250 Campsites, 7 Cozy Cabins, and several lakeside cabins on 300 acres. There is so much green here and the lake water is so clear! The bathhouses/laundry rooms are clean.But the best parts are the people! They strive to keep the grounds clean and gorgeous; and are willing to do just about anything to make your stay the best. They are very kind and courteous. Also, they have crazy events happening every weekend. So much fun! If I didn't have so much more of the U.S. to see, I'd be back next season!

For Mountain Lake Campground: This campground is in a very beautiful place. The bathrooms are clean and an ok size. It was quiet when we stayed but there were not many campers there. The price on the app is inaccurate it costs almost $50 for a spot. The sites are NOT level and some of them are like ridges with drop offs nearby. They could have done a better job making bigger level sites. We did not have a lot of interaction with the workers but the ones we did encounter were unprofessional and rude. We reserved a spot while driving through and paid with a credit card over the phone. Then at 10:00 at night someone claiming to be the owner knocked on our door asking for payment. When we told her we already paid she acted suspicious of us and was very rude and nosy asking why we were traveling, how long we were staying, where we were going, etc. I found it to be extremely rude and unprofessional. Overall, this is a very nice place but it needs some common sense attention and the owners could benefit from some personality lessons.
