For Krodel Park: Inexpensive and clean. Did not use restrooms or laundry. Cas or check only, $35.00 for pull thru full hookup. Would definitely stop here again. Campground manager was very kind and helpful. There are a few seasonal folks but clean and tidy.

For Krodel Park: Quick stop across state on our journeys . Called ahead to see if availability and pleasant host said she penciled me in just like! We arrived right when we said and she was ready. 25$ cash or check, full hookup! She was apologetic because there were only back-in spots. Not an issue. Sites are close but mid October that also wasn’t an issue as the park was mostly empty of travelers . There seems to be a few permanent residents . The park is large, clean, and kid friendly with a huge playground /seasonal pool. It’s part of a county park system so there are walking trails around the water edge. Easy 15 min walk into town. I would definitely stop by again if passing this way for a night stay.

For Krodel Park: Stumbled upon this gem on a trip home from up North. Neat, tidy, extremely kid friendly park. Managers are incredibly gracious and helpful. Will not use bathrooms so can’t comment! Wonderful campground!!!

Krodel Park Campgrou

For Krodel Park: Very friendly staff, helpful as they can be. Campground was neat and tidy. Reminded me more of a private campground versus a state operated one. Bathrooms were marginal. Not particularly clean, lots of cob webs, soap stains in shower. Fixtures were old and rusty. Odd arrangement with one shower inside the other. Not very private changing area. At campground I noticed a fan set up blowing into a circuit box. Our visit was during warm temps, must have had some wiring issues.

For Krodel Park: Very friendly and helpful park hosts. Awesome playground. You can walk around a lake and over to visit historical Fort Randolph. Within minutes of the Mothman Museum and downtown Point Pleasant. Nice campground, would definitely visit again.

Chester

For Krodel Park: Great county park with full hookups for $25 per night. Very close to town. Park very clean and tidy. Washer/dryers worked great and bath/shower very clean. The host couple are very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again. I would rate it higher but sites are close together. Still plenty of room.
