For Falling Waters Campsite: We needed a stop for just 1 night. This was perfect. It was also our very first time camping & almost had a heart attack when the guy took us "over the hill" to our spot. BUT: knowing we were newbies, one of the young men working there drove his truck to our site with me following so I didnt have to figure out where I was going. Then he helped to make sure I got everything hooked up right & asked several times if I needed anything else.ALL the staff were very friendly, helpful & encouraging. We were fortunate to be at the lower far side of the property accross from the stream. It was perfect for us & super easy to pull in & out of. The bathrooms were very clean & warm(its Feb & cold). Since it was supposed to rain & I didnt want to spend hours driving in it, we stayed another day & went to Gettysburg. Again, this place was perfect for us. It is not a "destination campground", it is spot on for staying a night or two to break up a long trip.

For Falling Waters Campsite: Spent the night here on route. One mile off 81, perfect for overnight with full hookups and pull through site. Don’t understand all the negative reviews. Place was clean well kept and staff pleasant. Store is stocked with RV parts.

For Falling Waters Campsite: the park is right on the road. the stream is pretty. the bathrooms were clean. the camp store was nice. the people were nice. it rained the whole time we were here, so maybe without the rain it would be better.

For Falling Waters Campsite: People are very accommodating. They have some full hookups and some not. We asked for (and got) a full hookups and they were fine. The store has most any RV part one could need and a propane fill station so its a good spot to park should repairs be needed. We stayed for a week (full timers) and found it a fine place to stay. We visited friends in the area and saw many sites including Gettysburg.

For Falling Waters Campsite: Have been full-timing for 16 months now and this is the worst place I've been in. Sites are helter-skelter all over the place and close together. Very few full hook ups and they seem to be seasonals. No sewer and NO dump! Wish I hadn't paid up for a week before I found all that out.

For Falling Waters Campsite: This is the absolute poorest campground that we have ever stayed at! We are sitting beside the dusty exit driveway right next to an intersection on route 11 in Falling Waters, WV with loud motor bikes, boom box cars, etc. They say that they have 50 sites, but we got the last one available. $37.00 for water and 50 amp electric, less a $3.70 Good Sam discount. I cannot imagine this being a Good Sam park and they "accept" big rigs. We simply will not be back and I certainly would have been glad to drive on another 50 miles for something better. Moral of story, ALWAYS inspect before paying your money!

Marl
For Falling Waters Campsite: This campground is adequate. For big rigs there are only a few spaces that are very narrow (15ft) and short. Lots of noise from road on front and nearby neighbors. (gun shots, noisy off road vehicles, etc)
