For Lake Dubay Shores Campground: This place is HORRIBLE! Avoid it all costs! If you look at the google reviews, the only good ones are people who are friends with the owners. They charged for our guests to enter the campground (fine), the rules state $5/person but when “John†was working the front desk it became $5/person and vehicles. We ordered wood and they delivered it with a gator, the guy driving backed up into the sight, dumped it everywhere and drove away. If you read the google reviews you will see that if you complain about it the guy has a habit of taking his gator and running into your vehicles! At 10pm sharp “John†mentioned above, (like he was listening at our door) started hammering (I’m not embellishing) on the door with a flashlight so he could tell our guests to “GET OUT!†We were just enjoying conversation inside and not making noise.
The condition of this campground is awful. The bathroom doors are rotting off the frames, other areas rotting as well, the store/office is dusty and dirty (don’t eat anything from there), there are dozens of abandoned permanent sites where anything that was left behind is still there (these sites are now being rented).
Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

For Lake Dubay Shores Campground: I’ve been to a lot of private RV parks in Wisconsin and this is not nearly as bad as the previous reviews make it out to be. There’s a lot of boat traffic down by the river lots of full timers true, but for the area it’s one of the cheapest available besides the county parks for what you’re getting. If you’re into boating or any kind of water sports it’s got a good dock for any kind of watercraft and seems to cater to those that want a river location. This park is actually cleaner then the National Forest site I just spent a week at. Clean your crap up people.

For Lake Dubay Shores Campground: Place has the potential to be a nice campground but the owners have let it fall into disrepair. I’ll move on next time.

For Lake Dubay Shores Campground: Many permanent residents. Sites under-developed for the high price. Refused to refund paid in full reservation even when notified several months in advance of cancellation. (we were stuck in Texas because of repairs on RV)

For Lake Dubay Shores Campground: This campground has a great seeing, right on the shores of the Wisconsin river. The sites are close together and it looked nearly full. It has docks for those with watercraft. Off you want a lakeside spot prepare to pay extra. The view is wonderful though. The have a pretty full playground for the kids. Bathrooms are old but are maintained. Showers unfortunately only deliver cold water. Our fire pit was full of dirty diapers when we arrived. My husband let the front office know. The fire pit was still full of dirty diapers when we left.
