For Merry Macs Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Merry Mac Campground. Getting to the campground was good. A few hills and curves but nothing crazy. The roads in the campground are paved and in good condition. The trees are all well trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. Large camp store. There is a large parking area near the office. No escort to site but was given a map. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was P-4, a pull thru site with a paved drive and grass patio area, with a picnic table. The site had a good view of the forest. Our site was not level. The site was dry. Our site and all the transient sites have no sewer hook up. The campground has lots of seasonal folks, but most of them are well kept. All the pull thru sites are paved. Most of the back in sites are grass. The few back in sites that are paved seemed to have a steep slant. There are two bathhouse, but they charge .50 cents for a shower. There was no laundry at the time we were there. Pool seems nice and they have a huge swimming pond. No rec room. No workout fitness room. The grounds are well kept. No cable tv. No over air antenna. Wifi is limited. Poor Verizon cell service. So the bad is no sewer hook up, poor wifi, no air antenna and no verizon cell service. It is also very very crowded on weekends. I would come back. I only like the pull thru sites here, especially P-4. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Merry Macs Campground: Stayed here spring 2020. Very nice Rv park. Friendly and accommodating ownership. Walking distance to ice age trail, parFrey’s and devils lake. Pretty barren during #covid but this place would be a dream for kids to run around at. Full time sites are really nice and well maintained. Yeah that swimming pond isn’t perfect at this point but lucky to find somewhere open. Amenities like pool, shower houses, mini golf and tons more activities make this ideal. This place would be great for an active family. Thanks!

For Merry Macs Campground: Stayed here in July of 2012, but writing this in December. I will avoid this campground in the future and advise others to do the same. The showers were all coin operated, the swimming pond lacked any aeration and was completely algae filled by mid July. It was so bad I found several small dead frogs in it (and the smell was terrible). The pool was cold enough that in my 5 year olds lips turned blue after 15 minutes of swimming. Overall a bad campground.
