Canadians

For Sprague Lake Resort: The mosquitos were bad, the washrooms reeked, the showers were dirty. You had to pay for wifi and to use the shower.

The nearby trains ran all night, and let me tell you - they are VERY loud. Don't think you'll wake up well-rested here.

For Sprague Lake Resort: This place has a beautiful, natural lake view, lots of birds and a friendly owner. The resort appears to have been very lovely at one time but has fallen into disrepair. Campers are "nickeled and dimed" to death. We paid for electrical/ septic /water and by the time we had all the add-ons included once we arrived, we were paying $25 more to over $55. Add-ons included an extra cost for the use of the showers, (dirty, but work well), an extra cost for Wi-Fi (worked well), an extra charge for credit card fees and an extra charge if you want to fish from shore. There is not much else available on this stretch of the road so one night is doable. Trains go by day and night at half hour intervals blowing their whistles at night.

Chris

For Sprague Lake Resort: Small RV resort and campground on Sprague Lake in Eastern Washington. Sites are on lawns, some with shade, all 30 amp. It's a nice, quiet (except for trains across lake) park and good 1/2 way point on our way to Olympia WA. Called ahead for reservations and they do charge one night if you cancel. A little pricey, $48 (includes tax and cc fee, 5% discount for cash). We are a 36' fifth wheel, plenty of room.

For Sprague Lake Resort: We were SURPRISED didn't stay, as soon as we pulled in a woman came up to us and told us if we got out of our vehicle it would cost $6 each just to look around! We've NEVER heard of such a thing.

AU from Eau Claire

For Sprague Lake Resort: Grassy spot on the shore with a beautiful view looking out over this undeveloped lake. We were here with only one other rig so got a spot right on the water even though we paid the lower price. Very nice owner. Quiet, peaceful evening. A few ducks, geese and goslings on the shore, and pelicans flying over. Yes, there are trains across the water, but we like them and they don't blow their whistles in the vicinity of the campground. So glad we found this place. Stayed here one night in a 24-foot motor home.

For Sprague Lake Resort: Overpriced. Beautiful grounds but overpriced, had to pay extra for the wifi also pay showers. OLD PAY SHOWERS & bathhouse.
We had our fan on all night to cover the noise from the train. Didn't bother us but would have been very noisy without it. There must be nicer places to stay & more reasonably priced

Dan Brown

For Sprague Lake Resort: We stayed one night in a 36 ft motor home. We thoroughly enjoyed it as it was not overcrowded and the spaces were large with lots of grass. We were right on the lake with full hook ups. The view was great. We did not use any of the facilities so I can't comment on them. We would definitely stay here again and would bring a fishing pole next time.
