For North Fork Campground: This is a sweet little campground in the tall trees right on the north fork of the Cispus River. It is on a paved road all the way from Randle, some of it is a little narrow, but still wide enough for 2 lanes. No Verizon coverage.
The sound of water going over the rocks makes a great sleep track that you could hear pretty much anywhere in the campground. The large generator the camp hosts were running from morning to about 8pm, not so much. It was at least not horrifically loud, but there was a pervasive hum all day from it.
I was in site 4, which turned out to be not the best choice due to it’s proximity to the trash & toilets. I didn’t use them, but when the wind shifted, I sure got an unpleasant odor.
Some sites were right on the river with picnic tables overlooking the river. Perfect spots. Lots of trails in the area. I would definitely return, but would choose a different site.
