For Tall Chief RV Resort: Easy check-in and the ranger even let us know which sites were available. Pretty cool! We ended up in spacious and level back-in site #20. There was lots of shade so that was great. The lack of a sewer connection was a massive bummer though. We've stayed in over 100 campgrounds in 2 years of full-time RVing, and Tall Chief is the only one where all of the sites have no sewer connections. An outside contractor handles honeywagon service. They only come by once a week and it's $60.00 to sign up. Yikes! We used the campground restrooms & showers as much as possible to avoid filling up our tanks. Site also had poor electrical box wiring in that the 30 amp and 120 volt plugs are on the same circuit. This meant that our breaker kept tripping every time we tried to run 2 air conditioners in 90+ degree heat. Bad job folks! And they need to do some tree trimming! Lots of overhanging branches makes it hard to get into the site. Campground is close to Issaquah and Redmond so there are lots of nearby grocery and shopping options. My AT&T phone had 2 bars of very slow service and my wife's Verizon phone had 1 bar. Our cell phone hotspots were also slow. The free lodge wifi was fantastic. No optional wifi at site available for purchase.

For Tall Chief RV Resort: We have stayed here before and enjoyed the park both times. This time we has a family emergency and short reserved through RPI. TT was most accomodating. All facilities are open and following covid guidelines. Staff was cheerful and friendly. We loe staying here and will return.

For Tall Chief RV Resort: The reviews below remain fairly accurate. However, contrary to those reviews, we found the staff delightful, over the top organized, and the grounds very well maintained. Though it takes some time, we did actually like picking our own spot. The main gravel road is dusty, but they are enforcing the 5 mph speed limit to reduce the problems associated with this. We like our spot to be a little more open and we were able to find a couple. We reported our location to the main gate by phone. Though we drove to get there, we loved the many bike trails that head out of Carnation and Fall City. It was a little more money than we have paid elsewhere, but we would definitely consider returning because of the biking in the area and the well kept grounds and friendly staff. By the way, there is no view here other than trees. :)

For Tall Chief RV Resort: This was a our first stay at Tlll Chief, but not our first Thousand Trails. This one, by far is the most modern. The camp ground is very large and very treed. If you are looking for lots of sun, you may find it challlenging. There are two bath houses and one lodge. The first bath house has laundry as well. The inside is a little run down, but this ay be due to the little fan trying to vacate all the moist air. I would prop both doors open, just to be able to shave. Otherwise it was clean. The second bath house, if you will, is the pool. This is the largest pool of the thousand trails we stayed in. The hot tub was grand as our weather was cool and very rainy. The pool also has a TV and pool table room and another "meeting room." All ver clean. The third clubhouse is up on the hill and appears to have a kitchen area, but was locked up. Bathrooms and a nice sitting area with table. Think there was a TV there as well. WIFI is only in the pool area and the upper lodge. This is fine with us as we are camping. If I wanted WIFI and TV, I would stay home. Sites are pretty level. Ours was closer to the pool on the lower portion (#86?). The site is a little dark, but it was raining quite heavy, so that didn't help. All in all, we definitely loved this location and will be back. We camped in a 20ft Hybrid.

For Tall Chief RV Resort: I wished I had read the previous reviews before booking here! I am also disappointed in this campground. We are in a 40’ motorhome with a tow. At check in we were handed a packet and told to drive around to find an open site. The roads are steep and winding and most of the open sites were muddy. We finally found a site, we would fit in and was reasonably dry, back in and discovered no sewer hook up or 50 amp service!! We paid $68 a night!!! So we had to go find the dump station, dump and re-park our motorhome. I went back to the office to see if any of the very few 50 amps were available, rather than driving around aimlessly, and was told “Oh no...there are none available.†We also are frustrated for having to pay a resort fee and then finding on arrival that the hot tub and pool are closed until Memorial weekend and the club house is being renovated!! Very disappointing “RV resort!â€

For Tall Chief RV Resort: This place is beautiful, however it really is also very unfriendly in terms of how it's run. I stayed here in early January and all the water was turned off, no dump at site only a central dump which had water. So after finding a site I liked I had to drive back down, report the site I took then dump and fill. It's very steep going in on very narrow winding roads. I really wanted to love it here and I did enjoy the privacy but I probably won't stay again because of no dump or on site water plus the mud was terrible especially since I have a dog.

For Tall Chief RV Resort: This place is simply horrible. No sewer, mostly only 30 amp, water is currently on boil only, and it is terribly dustie ( mud when it rains?). At check in they do not track open sites so you must explore to find an open site. Interior roads are dirt/gravel, sites gravel. Annoying little flys and bugs. Yuk
