For White River Campground - Mount Rainier National Park: Great camp ground! Great hiking trails right out of the camp.
Really good views of Rainer. 4 stars because very small sites.
Big rig and 5th wheels won't fit.

For White River Campground - Mount Rainier National Park: This is one of the most beautiful national parks I've been to so far, sans Highlight Campground in MT, which is on par. I'm a hammock camper, so two sites worked great for my set up: A26 & A1(found this one a little better fit for my needs), although, 26 does have a cool couple trees, which have been planed to use as a seat or table, plenty of tent space in these sites. Most sites accommodate; tents, hammocks, RV's, pop ups, etc. since this was my first time, the "locals", mostly from Seattle area told me that on holidays, I was there Labor Day 2016, there can be a 6 month reservation list, however, since my sites were fitst come first serve, many people set up tents on a Thursday, went to work on Friday, then came up after. If you've never seen Mt Rainier, it's amazing. Climbers come from around the country, some the world to climb it and they start at midnight, as the cold prevents the carcasses from collapsing. Wood is a little pricey, $6.00 a bundle, which is Douglas Fur and to me it didn't burn long enough...personal opinion. So far one of my favorites campsites.
