For Candy Hill Campground: If you like Barney Fife and Mall cops, you will enjoy staying at this park. Multitude of nit-pick rules!

For Candy Hill Campground: Very well maintained Campground. I booked a luxury site which had a cement pad, 2 lounge chairs, a glass top patio set with six chairs and a full size grill. My only complaint would be Highway noise. Campground store had everything but the kitchen sink.

For Candy Hill Campground: After 10 years of RVing I can say without doubt this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Muddy, out of level site. Unhappy employees are obviously not happy to see you. Management thinks they’re doing you a favor taking your money. Nickel and dime you for “extrasâ€. I don’t believe any of the 5 star reviews. Avoid this place at all costs.

For Candy Hill Campground: Ignore the planted 5 star reviews. this place is terrible, very unfriendly, STAY AWAY! Mud, unmowed grass, some gravel. Arrogant nasty staff etc. Read the reviews on Yelp and Google. Most all negative except for the planted 5 star reviews.

For Candy Hill Campground: Easy to get to from major highway.
Very well maintained campground. Pull through site was level and on blacktop.
Check-in was easy and owners were very friendly. We were shown our site by a very friendly person on golf cart.
All connections to water, electric, and sewer were great.
From previous reviews there was a note about noise from highway. There is some minor noise but nothing that loud. We had no issues with it.
Would definitely stay at this campground in future.

For Candy Hill Campground: I stored my RV here for about a year. Very unfriendly staff. Super uptight & I never understood why. Always an attitude. (& I consider myself a rather friendly, easy going guy) In addition to my monthly storage fee, which I paid a year in advance, they charge $20 for use of air hose. $20 for a water fill. $40. to dump tanks. From my many years in RVing, I know that’s ridiculous. I won’t give them another cent of my money or second of my time. And it’s noisy as as hell with the adjacent freeway.
Never again Candy Hill!

For Candy Hill Campground: This campground is very convenient if you are visiting the Winchester area. It doesn’t have much to offer otherwise. Close to the highway so lots of noise. Some sites are quieter so ask about that. WiFi is through a separate company(Tengo) so you have to set up an account. If you choose free WiFi for 24 hours you get next to nothing. I called Tengo and they said the WiFi was only enough to check email.. Cable did not work at our site. We were told our TVs were too old. At the next stop cable worked beautifully. They charge you $3.50 to reserve online and they charge you $3 an hour if you come before 1:00pm. Couldn’t believe that when I saw the bill. Place was clean and well kept in general. I would only stay again if I had no other choice.
