For Williamsburg Campground: This is no longer a KOA property. It is now just named Williamsburg Campground, privately ran. They say that they can offer lower prices without the KOA affiliation. This is a BS response and this is why. We come here every year and rent the deluxe cabin most of the time. The owners have started price gauging!! Almost $400 per night after all of their outrageous fees! Very basic cabin with no fluff at all. The cabin had dust all over the place. Moldy caulking in the bathroom. The outdoor table and fire area were filthy. We had to clean it just to be able to use it. And it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time as the grime was built up pretty thick. No kids activities during the week. And the price increases on the weekends. And now!!! They have changed the check out time to 10:00am. Check in is at 4:00pm!!! So if you stay one night, you only get the cabin for 18 hours for almost $400!!!!! Check out used to be 12:00 for cabins and 1:00 for RVs. Now it’s 10:00 & 11:00. The pool is great. The store is insanely expensive but good in a pinch. A bag of marshmallows is almost $6. Walmart is about a 10 minute drive away. Great ice cream shop with 8 flavors. Good kids playground. These are the positives. I don’t believe the price is justified as I can go to another local campground with basically the same offerings for half the price and a more reasonable check out.

For Williamsburg Campground: We stayed here for 5 days in a 32 foot travel trailer. This KOA is a nice place to stay if you are looking to enjoy the local history or visit the local theme parks. There is a lot to keep you busy. We utilized the pool, playground, and hiking trail all of which we throughly enjoyed. They do have several geocaches in the campground if you are a geocacher. The laundry facilities are clean and up to date and the camp store is well stocked. The staff is very friendly and keep the park tidy. We did not use the bathhouses.

For Williamsburg Campground: Very nice place to camp. Close to golf courses, fishing, and Busch Gardens. The bath houses were spotless and the campsites were in great shape. I had no problems getting in and out my site. The workers were very nice and friendly. Will definitely go back this summer for a long weekend camp.

For Williamsburg Campground: The good part is that the Park has excellent WiFi and lots of trees. The not so good is that the sites are not level and are very close together. The inexcusable part is that we’re misled when we booked a date six months in advance about whether they had ADA facilities. My wife always asks when she reserves. They told her that they did. Upon arrival I asked the manager where they were and he said it was
unavailable. I asked why and got the same answer. I tried to find out several times and got exactly the same answer. Nothing I said could budge him...unavailable. Later I found that the did not have any ADA facilities. I complained to KOA central about this guy’s arrogance but have not heard back.

Waypoint
For Williamsburg Campground: Very. Ice campground. Easy access to sites and shopping. Lots for kids although we did not have any with us. Don’t know why the directions read like they do, we took a left off the interstate with no problem. Also the address is 4000 Newman Road, as their website indicates. Traveled in a 34 MH with a toad. Would stay here again.

For Williamsburg Campground: Nice and quiet. Well maintained and clean. Lots to do for a family, maybe a little expensive of you don't use anything but the electricity and the shower. WIFI did not work well despite assurance by the manager.
