For Shenandoah Valley Campground: We stayed here in a 36’ class A. The park is quite pretty in the grassy parts. We were up on the hill on dirt under the trees. Campsites up there were rather tight and the road up the hill to the area was unnervingly narrow. Down on the grass the sites were much better. To get to the park you drive up into the hills, but the park is down in a little bowl and we had no cell signal. We did not pick a site with sewer and found that the dump station is very inconveniently located if you do have to dump. One fun feature is the domestic rabbits that are all over the place, and like being fed.

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: It looks like this used to be a nice campground. Maintenance clearly is not their forte. The playground had whole sections of railing missing, the mini golf greens are falling apart, not sure how they charge extra for this. The river and pool are fun for the kids, but this place could be so much more if they cared for it better.

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: We intended this stop as a staging point for our trip into Baltimore. To take a couple of days and relax.
This campground is rural, about 3 miles off of I-81. It is very pretty, and as has been said in other reviews, very family oriented. Limited full hookup, they do have a “honey wagon”. The campground sits down in a river valley, therefore you have very limited internet access, very few over the air TV channels, and the sites for larger rigs are mostly block your satellite reception. For us…all the things we were looking for coming off of several days of boondocking on the road, we did not get.
If we were local and wanted a week of weekend stay, this would be perfect. However it did not fit our needs.

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Nice campground with plenty for family's to do. But the sites are small and tight. Tough for large campers to get in and out. We won't stop again

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Wonderfully beautiful setting, set back a couple miles from the highway. Big place with lots of activities under tall pines along a river. Bunnies hopping about the greens, very surreal. Easy booking, pull through for 30amp 35 foot travel trailer. Would easily stay again.

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Nice rural campground in a pretty valley. Certainly a great family destination with River tubing, fishing pond, game room, large pool, and open play area. Sites are pretty tight for large rigs and weekends get very busy. Appears to be a real destination for family weekend outings. We enjoyed the River and waterfall walks during the week, but weekend was too busy.

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Great amenities. Great creek for tubing. Lots to do for little ones. BUT lots of trash -we visited on a Tuesday and weekend trash was everywhere. We brought a baggie and gloves to clean up before we sat and enjoyed the waterfall.
