For Tall Pines Harbor Waterfront Campground: Sun Outdoors has recently bought 7 campgrounds on the Delmarva coast up graded some of the amenities directed towards family camping and raised prices up to 50%. The FHU camp site we stayed in was nice and the tall pines a real asset. Sun Outdoors promotes the use of golf carts and has a large fleet to rent such that you are likely to rent one or bring your own. No one walks anywhere and golf carts are in use dawn to after dusk. Young adults frequent the pools and collect in groups and drink for hours without getting out. This is a resort with camping an after thought. We stopped at another Sun Outdoors camp ground/resort near by and found the same atmosphere.

For Tall Pines Harbor Waterfront Campground: Clean well maintained campground, with plenty to do for the whole family!! Stayed for 4 nights recently, and am only giving 3 stars because I’m concerned about the stray dogs who frequented the area of our site. We camp with our dogs and we’re scared to death about these dogs running the campground all night. They got into our trash and snuck up on us while walking the dogs at night. We asked about these strays and were told. Yea they belong to the guys who lives over there (he pointed) but that was it. They didn’t seem to care about this potentially dangerous situation…

For Tall Pines Harbor Waterfront Campground: Beautiful campfround. Family oriented. Sites are clean and well
Mantaines. Only 6 miles from route 13. We stop for one night on our way to the outer banks. Would like to stay for a few days.
