For Camp Cardinal at Gloucester Point: Camped here by default for a few days in a 40’ 5’er in August. The theme of this park is geared toward the cartoons and the park is setup for families with kids. So, if you have little spawn this is well worth a visit. Great facilities, laundry, shop, take out eatery, pools, playgrounds, fishing, boat ramp and dock, kids activities, etc.
Park is mostly shaded but also mostly gravel. Full hookup. Also bungalows available.
Close to the historic Williamsburg/Jamestown/Yorktown revolutionary war early Virginia history triangle.
Pricy !! hell, you may have to mortgage your RV to pay for this at $78.00 per night, made my eyes bleed !

For Camp Cardinal at Gloucester Point: What was supposed to be a two night stay turned into an entire week. We absolutely loved it here. Pet friendly. The employees were awesome and very friendly. Great family oriented campground. Full of activities for the kids from 9a to almost 10p daily. Prices are kind of high for the pottery, tie dying and foods at the pic-a-nik basket, but outside of that... kids and I will definitely be back here regularly!

For Camp Cardinal at Gloucester Point: Over priced, our part didn't appreciate the emphasis on leaving exactly at checkout despite an relatively empty site. Non-paved sites, kind of surprised at how much it cost to stay here. Great facilities for children and adult fun.
