Christmas
For Swift Run Campground: Has potential but it needs help. The Campground looks like it has been a nice park. It has two swimming pools but both don’t look new. They are working on the big one and the smaller one has to be repainted every year. The one pool was open to the community and has slides and a snack bar next to the pool. The sign at the entrance needs some new paint they also have a very old trailer with flat tires next to the entrance that needs to be moved. Grass has taken over much of the campsites, but they still appear useable. It was not easy but we did get a site that our portable dish satellite was able to pick up three satellites. The rest room was old, but in better shape than the rest of the park and the shower area looks like it has been recently painted. We did call twice and left an email to get a reservation. It took a long time to get a response. Their sign says pick a site and they will come around to pick up payment. We have been here 4 hours and they just came by for us to sign in. The cell service for AT&T and T-Mobile is non existent in the park, but is available in the town about 3 miles away. The good news it is close to the entrance to the park, the price was very reasonable, we were able to get infinity for WiFi but not sure if it is park or the stores WiFi , the highway does have a small nice gas station, groceries and has snacks and cooked food. I would recommend that people look at the dates on the reviews, this Campground has the potential to be very enjoyable if someone had some time to fix it up some.

Mat
For Swift Run Campground: Sites are small and close together. Bathrooms were dirty and pooorly stalked. No sign of any quiet hours. Multiple sites were loud and up all night. $25 for all that. Feel the owners may be price gouging people who couldn't find a spot up in the close by Shenandoah campsites which are more reasonable priced at $15 and $20, and better maintained.

Helpless Crow
For Swift Run Campground: Nice level sites but not many of them. Would go back.
