For Occoneechee State Park: The park is very clean, park staff are friendly, and most sites are relatively level. Several access points to the water for boats and kayaks. The only negative point about this park is that it has only one dump station with only one dump. This causes a line as campers attempt to empty tanks prior to exiting.
