For DC - Bull Run Regional Park: We attend one night got a drive through spot. Out spot was fairly big and well spaced from others. It’s a round about road to get to this park, but nice to stay. Helpful staff and easy check in. Not crowded when we were there in late April so very quiet. Bathrooms clean. Would stay again. .

For DC - Bull Run Regional Park: We choose Bull Run Campground for access to the DC area. It is a ways out to be sure, but with a dually truck for sight seeing it’s about as close as you want to get. The orange line metro at Vienna/Fairfax is about a 15 minute drive with ample parking @ $4:95 per day. The train into DC hits several spots on the mall. We obtained a senior pass( application required at select locations). We applied $20 and made several trips into DC. Cost is dependent on stop. $1:00 got us to the west end of the mall and $3:00 got us up to the Capitol area. The park is excellent. Full 50 amp pull through sit was plenty large enough for our 39’ fifth wheel. Park has laundry facilities ($2 for wash and $2 for dry) Rest rooms/showers were clean. Park is very large with trails, picnic areas etc. We would stay here again. Starlink was unable to connect at our location but there are sites where it has a reasonable sky view.

For DC - Bull Run Regional Park: May 2022, we had a 3 night planned stay here and chose our site in advance. The Pull through site did not work with our 5th wheel, so changed to a back in site without too much difficultly. It is a very lovely park and most of the campers are locals on the weekend. The sites are well maintained by cutting back trees and brush. We had a full hook site and all was fine.

For DC - Bull Run Regional Park: Nice campground and staff. Several sites seem to be a challenge for leveling side to side for many, so extra levelers are called for. There is a shooting range adjacent to the park for trap and sporting clays, so unless the weather is poor you can expect to hear shotguns most of the day. Would stay again.

For DC - Bull Run Regional Park: Great campgrround in a State Park. We stayed at site 34 which is a drive through site having 30 Amp electric and water on the outer loop. Our site had the utilities on the road side which meant our door and awning were on the wooded site. Felt very secluded. Neighbors are nearby but not too close. The only downside to our weekend here was the almost constant shooting from the nearby gun range. Dont know if this is usual. Would recommend booking a site as far away from the gun range as you can. We took advantage of the waterpark on Friday of our stay. Discounted rate for campers. The waterpark had a lot of kids as part of camp programs. Most of them left @ 3pm and the place got pretty quiet. Bicycles are prohibited on the trails in the park. Manassas is nearby @ 4 miles. We rode our bicycles to Manassas, then walked the trails at the Manassas Battlefield National Park.

For DC - Bull Run Regional Park: Spent a long weekend here, Park is nice stayed in a 50Amp pull through 114 it was nice. Most sites have hook ups on the street side leaving your camp side on the wooded side. We loved that!! The sites are close enough to wave but not close enough to hear others. The on site shooting range is close enough to hear but not too intrusive. Bath houses are clean, showers on the outside but completely private.all in all a good place close to civil war sites and close enough to DC metro for site seeing.

For DC - Bull Run Regional Park: Great campsite. We stayed in spot 15 for a week; it is a nice pull through loop with electric only. It was very flat once you found the sweet spot, we did not even have to use the levelers. The facilities were not super clean but very serviceable. The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. Will definitely have to stay here again on another adventure.
