For Thousand Lakes RV Park: From the friendliness of the staff to the cleanliness of the park, this is hands down and great place to stay. Close to Torrey and the national park and beautiful views. Highly recommend this campground. We stayed 3 nights.

For Thousand Lakes RV Park: Best campground in Torrey! Definitely come here above others if they have a spot open. Agree with the positive camp reviews already posted. Great views all around, lovely red rock rim, very quiet, very tidy, super nice staff. Nice home base from which to visit Capital Reef. Would definitely stay here again.

For Thousand Lakes RV Park: This is a great RV Park! It has just about everything you need for your stay while visiting Capitol Reef NP. Staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. Sites are raked gravel and level. How do I know? While I was setting up, the travel trailer next door hitched up, left, and within 10 minutes, the staff was raking the gravel and prepping it for the next guest. Concur with the previous commenters on the bathrooms. Very clean, well maintained, but a tad “Spartan.” Great laundry. Great little store on site for those…..”I left my…..” items. Jeep rentals as well. (Note: Capitol Reef has a couple of great dirt road circuits that really show you the park.j The crown jewels of this RV park are; one, the views, and two, the BBQ Restaurant on site. Neither will disappoint! Morning coffee while looking at the sun beginning to add fire to the red mesas….priceless! Darn good BBQ too! I highly recommend the ribs, smoked chicken and brisket. Their sides are great as well. the creamed corn was unique and delicious. They provide an appetizer of pimiento cheese and veggies with each entree. Top notch place. Stayed here three nights and wished it was longer. Drove by the rest and was glad we heeded the Allstay reviews. We would stay here again….and stay longer in the area!

For Thousand Lakes RV Park: We’ve stayed here 4-5 times over the years. Park is clean and well-managed. Office and maintenance personnel always friendly and helpful. Sites are gravel but nicely raked. Sites along the back have a beautiful view of red rim rock. They’ve added an on-site BBQ place for convenient meals, and the store has all sorts of clothing, jewelry, basic food and toiletries, etc. My only wish is that they would upgrade the restroom/shower facilities. Too cramped and outdated, but clean. This RV park makes an excellent base for Capitol Reef National Park, which is just 11 miles down the road, Torrey itself has some nice shops and restaurants.

For Thousand Lakes RV Park: Clean showers and laundry room. Pool was closed. Nice shop. Nice staff. View of the cliffs was amazing, especially at sunset and sunrise. Away from street noise. One issue I have is the spaces are awfully close to each other. This was likely fine in the day of small RVs but not now. We had two huge rigs on either side and they had slides. Felt cramped. Could not move to another spot, as park was full both nights we stayed. Other than that, fine place to stay while exploring.

For Thousand Lakes RV Park: Stayed 1 night during our adventure through the Utah National parks and wished would have stayed more. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The store had forgotten necessities and souvenirs from the area. Our site was level and the view of the Mesa was breathtaking. Cleanest bathroom and laundry facilities of any campground we stayed in. Pool on property and offered Jeep rental if wanted to explore.
