Drjulz

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Called ahead and spoke to a friendly guy on phone. Only there for an overnight, easy to pull in at night and instructions are posted inside the little office that is well lit and was open at 11pm (probably always open). Registration was an envelope, cash/check only. $30 for 30 amp/pull through. Large level gravel pull throughs. A lot of space to walk dog. Distant road noise. There is one large toilet with shower. a great option in this area. Would definitely stay again.

Adventure B Sides

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Great spot with shade and grass at the back in sites, friendly owners. Yes, there is only on bathroom and shower but we did not have to wait at any time since most campers were self contained. Definitely recommend!

Sue

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Great overnight spot, nice level pull thrus, easy access to the highway but far enough to be quiet, very pretty in the spring, would stay here again.

Penny

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Great over night stop. Our spot was level. Water was still off for winter. Very reasonably priced. Self registration was easy. On and off 84 was a breeze yet far enough away from the highway for good night sleep.

Jan

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Easy self registration. Beautiful large sites. Lots of space to walk your dog. Only 1 bathroom but it wasn’t a problem when we visited ( somewhat off season).i would definitely stay here again. It felt like camping because it was a very remote area, yet right off the interstate.

Knippa Kid

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Very nice quiet, place to spend the night, Access was really easy in and out. Lots of room and plenty of pull through spaces. We didn’t use the shower or restrooms. Water pressure was high so be sure to have a pressure regulator. Park is far enough from highway that the noise is muted. Price for full hookups & 50amp with military discount $30.00 (cash or check only) Was very reasonable. There is a nice area to walk and the neighboring small country lane was a pleasant walk at sunset. Self service at check in but very easy and clear instructions. The park owner came by in the late afternoon to check on everyone and we had a pleasant conversation. Very nice guy. We will stay here again next time we pass this way.

Robilee

For Earp and James Hitching Post: A gem. Just far enough from highway to be convenient yet quiet. Well maintained, clean, friendly people. Good space between sites, not crowded. Super value for full hookups and wifi. Shaded sites back in sites and spacious pull throughs. $30 for 30 amp.
