Lidja
For Granite Flat Campground: Don’t let the name fool you—most sites in this huge campground are not flat! Ha. We stayed at #63 at the end of the campground and our table/fire was two flights of stairs below the parking area. We could hear the stream nearby, but it is in a deep ravine, so basically inaccessible. We could clearly hear all the noise from Tibble Reservoir, too, but it quiets down after dark since no overnight camping is allowed at the reservoir. Vault toilets. No electric or water. Attentive staff.

Lola
For Granite Flat Campground: Up 25 min from the mouth of American Fork Canyon. Campground is dense with pine trees. Very beautiful. Sites single and double are for smaller trailers. Reservable and walk-in primitive sites, nicely paved with picnic table and fire pit on cement pad. Vault toilets only. Quite busy even after Labor Day weekend when all sites are walk-in.
Many hiking trails from campground and Tibble Fork Reservoir down the road. There are also many ATVs and horse riders nearby.
Site was clean of debris but table was really sticky with fuzz.
