For Gouldings Monument Valley Campground: We recommend Gouldings Campground and definitely would stay again. We loved seeing Monument Valley. Sites were fine--no problem leveling. Now we know we should have requested a pull through site as they are very large, and many had a beautiful view. The tents only area on the grass was especially nice. The campground provided a map of several short hikes, many with nice views, all on the Gouldings property. Campground is far from the highway and very quiet. Restrooms are large and well maintained, although buildings are more rustic than modern. Many services available--gas, laundry, grocery store, restaurant, theatre with free movies--1/2 mile from campground. A good stay for us!

For Gouldings Monument Valley Campground: Over priced. Sites not level, sewer hook up higher than the coach, wifi only works if you are at the office, cable does not work on flat screen/digital TV's. We tried using our antenna a pond still nothing. Only good part is a shuttle takes you from the campground to the theatre to see free John Wayne movies. Laundry was $3.00 per load so did not use that. Would not stay here again.

For Gouldings Monument Valley Campground: Gouldings needs maintenance! The sites are eroded and not level. CG roads have deteriorated. WiFi is too weak to be of use. Poor value @ $45/night.

For Gouldings Monument Valley Campground: The sign posted on the main road listing all services this park providers is somewhat misleading- yes, there is a laundry IF one is there before 3 p.m. when the last load is allowed to be started; there is a pool, but it was empty when we arrived; Internet is available IF one arrives before the office closes at 5 p.m., which closed the day we arrived before the posted time. We were charged more than the price posted on the door, which was not honored when my husband pointed it out (but at least they did take the sign down). The current rate is $30.06 with tax (we were told on the phone when we call to check rates on the day we arrived that the rate was $40, but that wasn't given to us until we told them where we were at the time we called). It is also unfortunate that long term guests are allowed to stay in a prime site, which blocks the view to some extent for other guests.
