For Hailstone - Jordanelle State Park: Meh. A very large state park that caters to the boating community but also has camping. Huge marina area. Day use pavilions are nice and located along the lake shore. A few RV sites are near the lake or have a lake view but most do not. At many sites the parking pad is annoyingly slanted both front to back and side to side. The car assessable camp sites are near busy highway 189 where you hear the trucks grinding up and down the grade. For the hike in tent sites you are treated with a sign saying “beware, rattlesnake habitatâ€. Flush toilets and individual shower rooms that could use some extra cleaning. The showers are the push button type with no temperature adjustment and you have to keep pushing that button. $30 for dry camping and $45 for water/electric. No discounts for anyone, senior, military, veteran, etc.

For Hailstone - Jordanelle State Park: A nice campground in a beautiful setting. Paved roads, pads, nice fire pit and picnic table. Many spaces accommodate fifth wheels with slide outs but not sure about big rigs. No wifi or cable but good Verizon signal. Did not have to pay park entrance fees with paid camping. Our site had water & 30A but no sewer.

For Hailstone - Jordanelle State Park: Stayed here 1 week. I would give 5 stars but no sewer hookup. Our site overlooked the reservoir with the mtns in the background. Clean restrooms and hot showers.Everything well cared for. Much to do in Herber City and Park City...their old town is a hoot with many good eat places and don't miss the Wasatch brewhouse. Heber City has much to offer. We were always busy going and doing things

For Hailstone - Jordanelle State Park: We would give this park a 5 Star rating if it had sewer connect for guest spaces. They provide sewer for camp workers but not other sites. The park is beautiful, quiet and scenery amazing! Well cared for by the camp worker staff. They are friendly and very helpful! We loved the large sites and wooded feel around our site. We will come back again.

For Hailstone - Jordanelle State Park: We stayed here mid October in a travel trailer on our way south. The park is very nice, lots of room, great views of the lake, nice clean showers and lots of spaces to choose from at this time of year. Sites may not be very level but we had no problems at all. Great place.

For Hailstone - Jordanelle State Park: September 2013. Stayed here in a travel trailer.
The camp hosts are really nice. They seem to take pride in their job, not only keeping the sites clean (hosing them off and cleaning up after each camper) but are also very friendly and easy to talk to. They gave us a lot of good information on scenic drives, and we talked a lot about the area.
The campground itself has a lot of beautiful sites with great views. It, and the restrooms seem really clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. I put it on my top ten list out of our 30 day journey across the western US.
