For Mountain Shadows RV Park and MHP: Avoid this RV Park at all costs! I made a W/E reservation at this park months in advance only to discover the clerk at check in forced me into a FHU spot. So instead of the agreed 45/night, it was 70/night! The reason I was given was because the water was not working in the less expensive site. I explained I could fill up my fresh water tank, then went and looked at the "site" and it was nothing but regular sized passenger vehicle parking! There was no way my 27 foot class c would fit, I explained this to the "supervisor", she seemed to be unmoved by my dissatisfaction and would not budge on the price of the FHU site at all! 1/2 block away is the very busy and noisy I-15, and sites are about 6-8 feet next to each other! Poor customer service, very noisy, and way to close to the next camper make this campground hell.

For Mountain Shadows RV Park and MHP: We stayed in site 110 for 10 nights. This park is close to everything we needed in SLC area. Sites are very close together, cramped. Site 110 and the one directly behind it are probably the biggest/best spots in the whole campground because they have a bit of a yard. Pool looked nice but closed at 6pm everyday, which we felt was too early. We would've really liked to have used it, but we had stuff going on during the daytime. We like to go swimming after dinner. The bathrooms were nice, stalls were small. The laundry room was big with 8 washer and 8 dryers. ($1.75 per washer). RV Park is clean, mowed, and most people pick up after their dogs. Corina at the front desk was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Braxton, the park manager, was quick to our rescue when we needed an extension cord for the electrical hookup because our cord wasn't long enough. Otherwise, we would've had to park our truck somewhere else, and put our RV in the middle of our site instead of one end or the other. We had no issues with the full hook-ups. Parked on gravel. Had a picnic table on concrete. Lots of highway noise. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because this place is packed. They have wasted NO space and get every dollar possibly by renting every single inch. And because the pool closed early. We probably won't stay here in the future.

For Mountain Shadows RV Park and MHP: We stayed in pull-through full-hookup concrete pad site #170. Our electrical post stated that it is a "luxury" site. This description seemed to be overly generous, but the site was long and very level. Price was a little expensive at $63.00/night even with the Good Sam discount. Lots of long term residents around the perimeter of the park. We spoke to one of them and she was very nice. Clean bathrooms. Secured laundry room had quite a few machines and it was only $1.50 to dry. Free campground wifi was slow and intermittent. We decided not to use it after our VPN service was unable to connect at the site. No cable available but we were able to program 50+ crystal clear over the air TV channels. My AT&T phone had 3 bars and my wife's Verizon phone had 5 bars. Lots of DVDs available for checkout in the office. Campground is located in the city right off I-15, so there are many nearby grocery and restaurant options. Camping World is right down the road within walking distance. Spa and pool are currently unavailable. Road noise was quite loud.

For Mountain Shadows RV Park and MHP: Packed in there like sardines. The street into our site (26) had a deep dip/rain gutter which scraped the bottom of our Airstream. Laundry area was nice and friendly staff. Appeared to be many permanent residents- not our favorite combo. To top it off we had our surge protector stolen.

For Mountain Shadows RV Park and MHP: Yes, it is an older park and the spaces are tight. But the staff is always super nice and the pool/shower/laundry room is clean. It is close to Salt Lake and the freeway, so yes, there is some white noise. But it is my go to stop going home or leaving town.

For Mountain Shadows RV Park and MHP: Park is 80 years old, spaces not made for big rigs with slides. Staff very nice, told us to check out site first and come back to pay if we decided to stay. Space so narrow we would not have been able to put out our slides. Opted to go on down the road 7 miles to boondock at Cabela's for one night. Oct 2018

For Mountain Shadows RV Park and MHP: I don’t often write reviews but I feel the current rating of 2 stars is unfair for this campground. It is an urban campground, close to the highway, yet we weren’t bothered by the highway noise as it was a steady white noise. We found the campground to be very clean with nice amenities. The showers were clean and water flow and temp was good (shower head could have been mounted higher). Laundry room had lots of nice machines and was also very clean. Nice convenience store, propane, pool table swingset and basketball court. And the customer service was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
