For Point Supreme Campground - Cedar Breaks National Monument: It was 100° at Provo and my AC was not working. Headed into the mountains to cool off. What a treat this last minute campsite was! Cool, 64° and breezy. So refreshing! Numerous sites available the 10th and 11th of July.(Monday and Tuesday.) would have stayed another day, but no sites available on Wednesday. Quiet, beautiful, nice hiking and numerous nice ranger programs each day.

For Point Supreme Campground - Cedar Breaks National Monument: Everything about the place is spectacular. Nice, helpful camp hosts, best showers ever ( and no quarters!), firewood (but please make a donation!), easy trails (except fir the 10k ft altitude), and no booking fee on Recreation.gov. Zero cell, so just enjoy the view.

For Point Supreme Campground - Cedar Breaks National Monument: I love this spot. It has HOT SHOWERS. It's generally cool at this altitude, awesome for UTAH. Brian's head and Bryce NP are fairly close. The downside is that more people are coming, its hard to find a spot.

For Point Supreme Campground - Cedar Breaks National Monument: I have stayed twice for one night over the past 6 weeks, once with my wife and our son's family, and once with a friend. Both nights were fantastic. With our 8 year old grandson, we took a hike along the rim and attended a ranger program, enabling him to obtain a Cedar Breaks Junior Ranger patch. The circular campground loop allowed him to ride his bike to his heart's content! The showers were great & free firewood a nice bonus.
This past week, the meteor showers were fantastic!!
Note that several campsites may be reserved. We will try to make a reservation next time, as a few of them have better views of the meadow below.
Our kids had a truck & trailer, & we were in a VW Eurovan camper.

For Point Supreme Campground - Cedar Breaks National Monument: Campground is above 10,000' so be ready for a steep climb. The summer nights cool off wonderfully and they have spotless shower facilities for which there was no charge. (Not sure if this was normal or just an exception) It's a fairly small campground, so if you want to make sure you get a spot definitely make a reservation. The host said they are full almost every day by about 6pm. Will definitely return!
