For Rubys Inn Campground: Part of a large complex with lots of services. Dry hard-packed roads and generous spaces. Shuttle stop to the park is a plus if you don’t want to drive in.

For Rubys Inn Campground: Beautifully clean bathrooms always get 5 stars from me! Convenient shuttle stop out front.

For Rubys Inn Campground: We stayed here for one night. Expensive but close to the Bryce Canyon National Park and has its own shuttle stop. Very nice fire ring and metal picnic tables at every spot. Lots of spaces at this campground and even some teepees. Very Nice laundry and shower facilities - some of the best we've seen. Only complaint was that our spot had the sewer connection up at the front of the site - much too far to reach in a back in space. Very weird and we saw a few like ours around us. Paid $56 for one night.

For Rubys Inn Campground: Date of Stay: June, 2017

This one is hard to rate because it's an an "independent" park that feels like the typical commercially run, chain park you'd find in a high tourist dense area with lots of traffic. The office staff seemed more like order takers versus what you usually encounter at campgrounds. I called ahead and had the impression the reservations agent was at a call center as he seemed to have no connection with the park. I was surprised to meet him at check-in. The location is great and we were happy to be able to walk to the nearby Ruby's Inn for dinner (we weren't up for cooking). There is a variety of types of sites in different sections...some with trees & dirt and others that are like a gravel parking lot. There are tent sites, cabins, camp store, atm, pool and a fee dump station for those not staying at the park. In the back (200's), there is a newer area w/ level concrete pads and a nice square of grass. We were told those book up month's in advance. We were driving a 25' mh with toad (42' overall), so asked for a pull thru w/fhu. The site they assigned was towards the rear of the property in the "gravel parking lot" area. We were given an end spot (#110 I think). While the other pull thrus were plenty long for big rigs, our site was short, so we stuck out in the road. Also, the sewer was way in the front...too far for our sewer hose w/o an extension (I think that was atypical for this park). We had our dogs and the nearest green space wasn't conducive for walking, so we asked to be moved. The same employee begrudgingly moved us to a spot nearer the front in the section with trees (#69?). These spaces were shorter, quite un-level and more cramped, but since it worked better where the other fell short, we were happier. We unhooked the toad to make it work. Ruby's has all the bell's & whistles of a resort, but to use an analogy, it was like eating fast food when we were hankering for a home cooked meal. No big complaints really, just not our bag because it felt like a cattle car... We would try out another spot next time though for comparison. I learned on my first trip there in '09, the same family pretty much owns the whole town (relatives of the couple that discovered Bryce Canyon), so other spots may be similar. We paid $49.37 incl tax, no discounts taken.

For Rubys Inn Campground: We were at the back of the park and wifi pretty bad. We had a view of the lake which was nice and grass for dogs right at our door. Park is located just outside the park entrance. The Ruby family certainly has the monopoly of the street and restaurants etc. very touristy area they've created. But also nicest campground in the area.

For Rubys Inn Campground: It's just down the street from the park entrance. The sights are level, clean and easy to get in and out of. You can walk from the camp to all the Ruby's empire stuff. That's the good.
The bad is that this feels like a gravel lot with a few pine trees, which is all it is. The price is way too much. No ambiance. We had multiple nights booked here but changed to only one night and moved on. Didn't love it.

For Rubys Inn Campground: Very dusty. Could walk to shopping. Did not use facilities. Expensive. Shuttle to Bryce Canyon NP at front entrance to RV park - very handy. Also, paved walking trail from Bryce Canyon NP Lodge to campground (about 2/3 miles). Not appealing to sit outside your RV in dirt/gravel/dust.
Wifi not good, although was told it had been recently upgraded.
