For Little Cottonwood Campground: We stayed here for 4 nights in our truck camper. It is nice little campground. All sites are paved and have access to water. We kept our TC there and drove around in our Jeep. We felt very comfortable leaving it since the camp hosts are there and alert to any people coming in. Go the The Creamery if you are in Beaver. We would definitely stay here again.

For Little Cottonwood Campground: We are en route on business to Salt Lake City area from Las Vegas via I-15. Fortunately we have our full office set up in our 30 ft motor coach.
We pulled in to Little Cottonwood and were approached by a very warm and friendly camp host. We were clearly given the best site in the campground - on the turnaround nestled under a beautiful ponderosa pine. Naturally we see the Cottonwoods for which the campground is named among Aspen trees on our walks.
My husband Bob and I planned on only 3 nights but extended it to 6. The four walls that surrounded us were the majesty on all sides of forest and mountains. The sounds were the babbling stream beside us and the wonderful music of what appeared to be very happy birds.
It was necessary that Deb's Professional Services have internet access and phone -- no signal. That is the only reason for the 4-star rating - and none of the forest campgrounds have hookups available; in our hearts it is rated a 5-star! We loved it in every way. It is also very good site for people who have physical / health challenges. We truly were able this way to mix our love of the forest/mountains and take health concerns into consideration as well as meet our business challenges.
There is the beauty and solitude of camping. There is fishing in the little stream as well as in the lake/reservoir just up the road. There is horseback riding and hiking in addition of course to winter sports.
We met our need for modern conveniences by going back down to the charming and quaint little town of Beaver, Utah - only 6 miles down the mountain. We enjoyed so many facets of this little town. We were able to plug in computers, phones etc and spend a wonderful day at the city park -- could not believe the access under this pavilion!
The town of Beaver also has a cheese factory among other places of interest. We spent one night at the pizza parlor and found we could take it and enjoy it next door at the unique old fashioned movie theatre next door (girls you gotta check out the bathroom!) - where they have the latest movie!
At the campsite we were visited by squirrels, chipmunks, and lizzards. Fellow campers were friendly, and walked their pets by occasionally. The camphost stopped to visit and even brought us some delicious trout he had just caught - we fried it up the next day we were at the plug in under the pavillion in the Beaver City Park.
All in all a wonderful area -- one we will definitely return to... one I would recommend for a vacation/for a lifetime... perfect place to raise kids or to spend your days in peace and harmony with nature!
