For Road Host RV: Stayed in late November for a night. Was very hard to get to due to construction on the road. Easy to get in sites. Area is a large open area with lampposts as markers. Great sunset but wasn’t there long enough to do anything else but sleep. Did use the showers which are a portable trailer type with toilets and washer and dryers. Park looked clean but it was out of season so not very busy. For me it worked for a overnight stay.

For Road Host RV: Easy to get to. Huge spaces. WiFi/internet forget about it. They shouldn’t even advertise they have it. This place is 5% full and I can’t even get email.

For Road Host RV: A disappointment for a KOA. When I mentioned the poor wifi and that, even though connected to the cable outlet at my site, I was told "our guests told us they'd rather have wifi than cable." Really? I responded that I thought most people would want both. Then I was told the story - they had poor cable and poor wifi and decided to try to have better wifi at the expense of cable. Mind you, this is a KOA that has an expectation of certain standards! The "campground" is a vacant, graveled lot behind Camping World with not one tree or shrub - just gravel. A shower/toilet/laundry trailer has two unisex bathrooms for the whole site (over 100 spaces) which include the showers, and two/two washers and dryers. That's it. The showers are on/off - more "on" gives you hotter water but it changes with each flush and the operation of the washer. They say there is a dump station - nope, you "dump" at your site. Tent sites? in the gravel behind a fence - like you're penned in! This is a perfect example of skimping on infrastructure and using the KOA name to attract users. Whoever "owns" this location is fudging with Corporate! I mentioned this all, in a matter of fact manner, to the very kind and friendly people in the office trailer and they told me "This is a 'KOA Journey' - not a regular KOA". Well, on my journeys I'm going to have to ask the KOA just what they really are! Having used KOA for years - they started in Montana -this is our most disappointing experience - ever - with the brand.

For Road Host RV: This is definitely a 1-night stay place. Really, the only game in town. The bathroom showers needed some serious cleaning. The bathroom mats were dirtier than than the shower. Checkout is strictly enforced. As we were leaving the campground at 11:59 a.m.; after some early morning shopping for provisions; we noticed that a campground worker was giving us the stink eye.

For Road Host RV: This park is exactly as advertised. It is a large gravel parking lot, huge level spaces that mean you don’t need to unhook. Views of the mountains, far enough from the highway that it is somewhat quite, the park itself was quiet with very few seasonals. Good wifi and antenna TV. AT&T signal was good. We did not use the facilities. We stayed in a 38’ fifth wheel. We would stay again if passing through. We would also stay a few days to tour El Paso as this park is close to everything yet feels safe and remote.
