For Southbound RV Park and Cabins: Very nice small privately owned campground. I stopped here for two nights on my spring migration north. Very easy check-in. This is a real nice mom & pop type campground with all the basic amenities. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I sat out my half full propane bottle, and they gladly filled it for me and charged my card in file. I will definitely stop here again, and recommend it to anyone asking.

Sherri
For Southbound RV Park and Cabins: Stayed her overnight on our way to the coast. Called ahead and made a reservation over the phone. Very reasonable overnight rate.
The host was very nice and the park was very clean and tidy. There are a lot of full timers here but their site was clean and tidy as well.
It’s pretty new so the trees are small. No shade available but that will be addressed in time.
There was a slight but if road noise from the highway and as people drove out to work in the am.
I would recommend this place for overnight stays.

For Southbound RV Park and Cabins: I just stayed three nts. I spoke with Karla when I reserved and she was so pleasant and helpful-and the her husband Chris checked me in. He loaned me a cable (brought and installed)when he heard I did not have one and had never used cable on my rig- and was so kind and friendly. There is a beautiful dog park and duck pond-a pleasant stroll in the evening. I used the clubhouse restroom when I arrived and both were clean and well equipped. The grounds were well groomed and I had no issues with the hookups or the WiFi-yes gravel is noisy but a lot of places in this price range have gravel-And there is small strips of grass between sites with newly planted trees. It’s 30 minutes to Magnolia Beach and 2hrs to Corpus Christi or Galveston-

Marina Golden
For Southbound RV Park and Cabins: For $35/night- we expected full hookups plus wifi and a place to let the dogs get outside to pee. We ended up using our own water (they add bleach to the water because of the heavy sulfur smell) & our battery powered lights (if we had the TV on, we couldn't have any lights on LOL) Normally we save our water & battery powered items for dry camping- which is FREE. The wifi was sketchy at best. The sites are all completely gravel- which is awful. My poor dogs couldn't walk anywhere on the available grass/dog park, because they were full of stickers. Just a little weed killer would be nice. All in all, a total nightmare & we will never be back. The gravel makes the cars flying by doing 20mph VERY LOUD.

For Southbound RV Park and Cabins: This is a wonderful RV park located just outside of Victoria in the country. It is very quiet out here and peaceful. The sites are gravel and there are full hookups. The owners are very friendly. There is even a pig!!
