For Van Horn RV Park: Stayed two nights in December just prior to Xmas. Penny, one of the owners very personable. Discount to Military and Sams Club. $36 per night, which I thought somewhat over priced for what you get. Sites are gravel but level. Stayed two nights. South of I-10 and easy to find. Noise from I-10 traffic not bad but could hear trains blowing there horn once in awhile in town. Some local folks but mostly people passing through. Would recommend it.

For Van Horn RV Park: Texas size pull through's. 45 foot coach and Jeep had no problems with plenty of space Well lit at night time for late tired eyes and a good spot when traveling thru West Texas. Friendly staff with a Texas smile. Good Sams Discout & pet friendly. Just behind the pilot truckstop. Will be back again. On site Cafe with dinner and breakfast. Would be a good place for Easter because little cute bunny rabbits everywhere.

Mr Salsa

For Van Horn RV Park: great little campground off the highway. Lots of bunnies running around and some chickens. There's even a small store and cafe. I guess the cafe closes in April? for the summer because it gets so hot here, but we've only stayed here in February and December. Really nice people and nice big sites ?? ??

Charlotte

For Van Horn RV Park: After driving 5,400 miles and being in RV parks...packed in like sardines...this park is a welcome home to Texas. WiFi & Cable are strong. We see the mountains and we have not heard the highway noise. They have a swimming pool. During the winter months, they have a cafe open all day (snow birds winter here). There is a sweet pond with water lilies and butterflies and a picnic table surrounded by weeping willows. There is a nice dog park.. Wide open west Texas spaces. The folk here are nice as can be.

For Van Horn RV Park: Stayed 1 night in April 2017. Easy to find off the highway and set back for enough privacy and quite. Restrooms OK but could use a cleaning and modernizing. Sites level and wifi Ok.

Stone man

For Van Horn RV Park: Nice place. Great mountain views. Fairly clean.

There were a fair number of open spots, but the rv's were all stacked side by side. It would have been nice to spread out some.

All dirt (very sandy gravel). Fairly level.

Ysanchez4

For Van Horn RV Park: Great park, big with all the amenities including the mountain views. Pool is deep and cool, even in south Texas heat. Wifi was solid and if you don't see at least a dozen bunnies while you're there, then you're not looking! It's no longer a KOA, so the signage is confusing from the highway but still a nice park.
