For Texas Route 66 RV Park: This is the 3rd time I've stopped here overnight on coast to coast drive. Great, convenient, overnight spot. The I-40 noise did not bother me. The new management has improved the place, and I had a much nicer site. Friendly staff, convenient tornado shelter. It's not a vacation spot, but it is well suited to the traveler en route.

For Texas Route 66 RV Park: You have to know that this park is directly on I40 thus very noisy all day and all night. True that it is difficult to find a quiet park in the area. I agree with the other comments but not a 5 stars for us.

Eliza
For Texas Route 66 RV Park: A terrific gem of an rv park!! Friendly, helpful staff. Cute gift store w/ a lot of oldie but goody items; Beemans gum, retro lighters & torches, leather goods, jewelry, old time soda as well as rv supplies. Fun animals that add to the charm. Dog park. Nice level rv sites. Full hook ups. Currently no showers but the new owners are fixing them up. Sure to be real nice considering the rest of the park.
Stay a few nights & enjoy their hospitality!!

Tammy
For Texas Route 66 RV Park: Friendly, family oriented, perfectly relaxing stay. Pull through, level, packed gravel sites with full hookups. Convenient I-40 access but not noisy. Dog park, swings and farm animals really were nice additions that enhanced our stay. Pleasant walk with the dog (and no stickers in her paws). A true “mom and pop†park where pride of ownership shines through. Fun trivia… town is about 1 mile away and home to the Conoco station that was the inspiration for Disney’s “Carsâ€. Route 66 is iconic and it’s worth seeing. Paid $32 for 75’ pull through in the shade Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

RULOS on the road
For Texas Route 66 RV Park: This place is simple but clean. Spot level and at a price you can’t beat! Very friendly people and cute animals. We had our air on so didn’t hear any i40 road noise. Easy on and off. We highly recommend!
