For Travelers World RV Resort: (6/04/21)
Very nice campground. Clean well maintained and quiet.
The roads to get there are a bit challenging to get there, double check your route.

For Travelers World RV Resort: Hello - Stayed here for one evening on a pass thru to Corpus. The good: A very nice, clean, well laid out park. Very cute pool with clean updated bathrooms. Sites have plenty of room, are flat and well graveled with newer picnic tables. $13 Lyft to the Riverwalk. The bad; the pool closed at 7:00pm (really, it was full daylight and 92 degrees out), the “fulltime†residents need to CHILL. Multiple times, repremanded for silly rules. My kids goggles fell in the hot tub “You can’t be in thereâ€, my daughter brought her rabbit cage outside “No cages allowedâ€â€™. Wow, do they realize my $70 nightly fee subsidizes their monthly rate? Chill out, folks. You were young once, too.

For Travelers World RV Resort: Traveler’s World looks very nice and is very clean. But the man and women at the front desk leave very little to be desired. The man couldn’t take to seconds to look up from the computer to say hello. The lady was incredibly grumpy. Just an unfriendly atmosphere where you first check in.
As for as rv sites go, we were placed in the transient sites along a back fence. Small but ok. When it gets dark flood lights come on and lights up the inside of your rv where ever there is a small opening to the out side.
They advertise dog friendly and it is. The dog park consist of an area cover with fake turf. Lots of dogs have pee’d and pooped on this turf so it didn’t look clean. No bags were available to pick up afterwards and it was apparent that many did not. If you have a larger dog, this is not the place for you.
We feel that there other rv parks out there the would be a better choice for the money. And if the front office people could of been just a little bit friendly we would of not given it a two star rating.

For Travelers World RV Resort: A word of warning to anyone planning to stay at Travelers World in San Antonio, TX (a Sun RV Resort). Our bikes were stolen here last night, AND they were secured down. The SAPD officer who responded to our report stated theft is a common problem here, especially with bikes and sometimes break ins. He is called here once or twice a month.
There is only one way to enter the park, but unfortunately they have no video surveillance here. When expressing my displeasure to the office staff about the lack of security for a known problem, they refer to their check in disclaimer about securing your bikes while here. The Sun RV Resort management apparently don't feel the need to assist in protecting their guests and/or their property by this park's example.
This park is in a great location for those who enjoy biking, right on the River Walk biketrail, so obviously many guests will be bringing their bikes. DO NOT EXPECT THEM OR ANY OTHER PROPERTY TO BE SECURE IF YOU DECIDE TO STAY HERE!!!!!

For Travelers World RV Resort: Watch your GPS for low clearances & high railroad crossings; we came in via GPS and had to navigate around them. Location can’t be beat! So close to Riverwalk and area Missions! Be sure to catch the light show at San Fernando Cathedral (free) & it’s so impressive! The park was clean, had level sights, great amenities, great WiFi (have to pay for higher speed but we didn’t find the need for that). The only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 is because we didn’t find the customer service to be that great (definitely could’ve been friendlier!)

For Travelers World RV Resort: This was such a nice place to stay for Christmas. The office made us feel welcomed. The surrounding place is a little shady but the park itself it beautiful.
Pull thru sites were spacious and so were the back ins away from the office. The backing next to the office were on top of each other.
Heated pool, game room, laundry, puzzle area, coffee area, yoga and workout room.
Pet friendly, we would have liked to put our portable fence up for our dog to be able to come in out but I understand this is not always easy on the eye even if our fence is a nice one.
We stayed 6 days and enjoyed how close everything this to the park.
The riverwalk located next to park is only accessible to San Jose mission and Conception which are still 1.7 miles away which is still nice but you will be walking thru a shady area once you get outside the park.
Always always follow the directions the park gives . DO Not follow your GPS. Low wires hanging and steep hill.
Thank you Traveler’s World!!!!

For Travelers World RV Resort: We made our reservations online and since we were staying for 3 days we picked a back in because it was cheaper. We did just fine but we would have had more options to pick from if we took a pull thru. I agree with everything everyone said. So happy when we find an RV Park that has level sites. The buses were great. Never did use our car.
