For KOA Holiday San Antonio: I have to give this park a five star. The staff was very helpful and always nice. As they say in Texas everything is bigger, for KOA the sites here were large. It is gated and is 10 min from down town and the Alamo. It has plenty of amenities. Full hookups 30/50 amp, Cable TV and the wifi was decent at our site. $53 a night we would stay again.

For KOA Holiday San Antonio: Nice, large, and gated. Nice dog park and lots. Cable and WiFi weren’t the best but that’s how it normally is in campgrounds. Close to the Alamo and riverwalk.

For KOA Holiday San Antonio: This campground is very nice. It’s big and very well run; the staff is efficient and friendly. The sites were plenty long enough for our 40’ Renegade and toad, and included a brick patio, picnic table and fire ring. The cable worked well but we didn’t try the wi- if. We didn’t use the restrooms, pool or visit the pizza or breakfast station, but the laundry has 8 washers and 8 dryers and is very clean. The TV game room is nice with books, games, comfortable chairs and a big TV. The park is located right next to a city hiking/biking trail, which is great for dog walking, too. The dog park is a decent size, clean and we never saw anyone else use it. There is a bus stop just across the street where you can get on the #24 bus that will take you to the Alamo and Riverwalk. The office recommended using it instead of trying to drive downtown. We did and it was very convenient. We were there right before the start of the San Antonio Rodeo so the park was very full. They had their organization for checking lots of newcomers in down pat and had a friendly word for us as we left.

For KOA Holiday San Antonio: Really nice KOA. Gated. Lots of amenities. Like others have said super nice and helpful staff. Bus service to local attractions sounded great but we decided to use our car. Was very quiet. Only ‘complaint’ if I had to drum up one is sites are very close. Someone had a campfire going and everyone close by got to enjoy the smoke. I would return. One of the nicest koas we’ve been to.

For KOA Holiday San Antonio: Nice campground. We enjoyed the pool and the walking path. Didn’t use the other amenities but they all looked nice. The best part about this campground are the workers - they are so nice and friendly. The day we needed to depart, we had some trouble with our rig and needed to leave late. They told us they weren’t busy and not to worry - we weren’t able to leave till 4pm and they were so understanding and sweet! Will definitely stay here again!!

For KOA Holiday San Antonio: Loved the nice mature trees. Pool was nice. Restaurant with breakfast and then pizza until 8:30 (although they stop taking orders at 8:15 - that was a little weird). Playground our son loved. Quiet hours do not seem to be enforced. Typical rules around the pool weren’t enforced either (someone smoking and with loud music in pool deck). Each lot has a patio with picnic table and bbq/fire pit. Very close to down town. Surrounding area is industrial. Liked that it was gated.

For KOA Holiday San Antonio: Five stars for location (8 minutes to downtown San Antonio and right next to a creek and public walkway/ trail). Five stars for pool. Five stars for grounds restaurant. Five stars for tent camping. Five stars for cabins. Five stars for gated security. Five stars for dog park. Five stars for grounds (been around for over fifty years so there are big trees) ONLY reason I didn’t give a five was RV/ trailer sites. Most are fives but some are twos. The fives are awesome. Majority are 4.5 stars. The twos get a poor rating, not due to maintenance; but to design flaws. Please arrive during the day to pick one of the fives or the plus fours. This is perhaps the nicest KOAs I’ve stayed at.
