For Sheppard AFB Recreation Area: This is a very well kept RV park. The staff is really friendly and helpful. It is so quiet here and peaceful! It is about 92 minutes away from Sheppard AFB. What a relaxing park.
Pontoon, motor boats, rowboats, canoes and kayaks are available to rent for Lake Texoma that is 100 yards from our campsite !
Full hookup and well packed level gravel spots.
No jet noises, sirens, planes or trains.
This is our first time here 04/10/25. We will stay here again.

For Sheppard AFB Recreation Area: This RV Park is older and way out of the way. Super quiet and right on Lake Texoma. Our only real con is that there were what appeared to be red ant nests in our site. We treated around all our Rig and truck areas that touched the ground and were only there for one night. Hoping we didn’t bring any stowaways with us.

For Sheppard AFB Recreation Area: If you haven't been to Shepperd in a while go. Drove up last week and checked out the RV parking area. It has been redone.Going up this weekend to camp.

For Sheppard AFB Recreation Area: One Star because Campgrd closed because of spring flooding. Drove to check thankfully w/o MH. Found out at least another 2months before will open
