For Jacales - Goliad State Park: Wonderful little park with so much history and wildlife. $20 for water and electric $25 for full. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Shiny Nomad
For Jacales - Goliad State Park: This was an interesting and inexpensive stay. The history of the area and historic buildings are cool to see. It’s on the river (which people kayak, but it was flooded when we were there). Goliad itself is a cute but very small town with a few places to eat. The bathrooms were not maintained well. It’s pretty much a parking lot, but each site has a covered picnic table and fire pit. I would say, go there once, not for more than a few days.
