For Sandpiper RV Resort: Nice park. Neighbours in site next door partied to 5am. No enforcement of noise rules but we were able to change sites. Surrounding drains on three sides of the park have stagnant water ponds so mosquitoes here were the worst we’ve ever experienced. They’re so big we initially confused them for birds. Impossible to be outside for most of the day. The constant rain and mozzies made us move on....

For Sandpiper RV Resort: Small clean park that sits between the road and the beach. $45-50. W/E/S/C at the site all worked fine. We used our own internet. ATT had a great signal. There is a hot tub and pool (non heated). Laundry was $1.25 as was the dryer. The showers and laundry are up a good flight of stairs though as is most everything in Galveston. It's a short walk out the side gate to get to the beach. Less than 5 minutes. There is a Walgreens across the street as well as a pizza place, subway, sandwich shop, Mexican and a little convenience store. The ferry from Galveston to Port Bolivar is a mile away (and free). We'd stay again.

For Sandpiper RV Resort: Great location. Small Rv park very clean & staff very nice. the showers and laundry were inconvenient to get to and up quite a few steps and thru a back entrance but other than that was nice and would stay there again.
