For Beachside - Galveston Island State Park: Camped in rv site 54 on lake side. Gulf side was full. Nice spot but have to walk to tent area for bathrooms and showers which were new this year and nice.

For Beachside - Galveston Island State Park: Error in booking, paid for 2 nights, 2 spaces. Error on my part, but still had to pay more 80.00 for 2 nights; so be very careful when booking online. I did request that the clerk please give the extra space to someone. She promised she would..
That said, I only stayed one night because mosquitoes were very bad, pitch dark out there and was on bayside
Will not go there again.. Came back up the street to Dellanera RV..SUCH adifference!

For Beachside - Galveston Island State Park: Great location when camping on the Gulf campground. Beach access fantastic. Sites ok. Toilets ok. Showers bad on many levels. Pricey for not so hot facilities but location, location, location.
