For Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park: Very long asphalt/gravel pull-thru sites - FHU-50 amp. In the upper loop there are “Buddy” sites with each rig pulling in from the opposite direction. Grass between sites. Some back-in sites. Small airport at one side could be a bit noisy, but it’s not bad and the planes didn’t fly at night. Other side of the park is a golf course. Not real close to town, but is OK. Staff is very nice. Cable. Definitely would come here again.

For Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park: We got the last site here on a very busy weekend. It’s nice and close to town with a walking trail close by. Some sites are very small and like a parking lot. Didn’t use restrooms or showers. There is NO laundry. Wi-Fi was weak at best where we were parked.

For Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park: We opted for a pull-thru site which turned out to be a good choice in site 61 in the Pecan Orchard area. Others were backed in and were only a few feet from the back of their "neighbor". Access to the sites was easy and our pad was level, crushed rock with a picnic table. Garbage cans were convenient to sites but garbage truck did come through about 8:30am. Local airport next door did have some air traffic but was quiet after 10:00pm. We enjoyed watching the planes and helicopters. There is a huge dog park. A large pond and a kids play ground. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again but would again specify a pull-thru site.

For Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park: Tiny spots, right on top of each other. Next to a small plane airport too. But that wasn't too bad.
There was a group of big rigs that had a country western band. They were load and not very good.
I had to close the windows and run the fan to try and not hear them.
No recycling! Being named after Lady Bird, I was very disappointed.

For Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park: I do not recommend this park. In some sites, units are back to back with no space in between them; or, along a busy road, which we were. Staff described the site as grassy but it was dirt. Lawn mowers going all the time, trash pick ups early in the morning, small airplanes taking off..dated bathrooms which needed attending on our arrival. Probably the worst of all however was when we checked out in a timely manner one night early, there was zero refund. They were not full, had not turned anyone away and had plenty of folks staying long term at a fraction of what we paid per night. Just petty and cheap policy.

For Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park: Lovely park sandwiched between a small regional airport and a golf course. We experienced full hookups and the spaces have a green belt between them so it is not too crowded. While we were here it is very quiet. During heavy usage I understand that the space we are using would have to accommodate two rigs, end to end which would be very tight quarters. I would recommend this park during the quiet season or at for a pull thru site. The staff is great and has been very helpful. I will definitely return if I find myself in this area.

For Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park: With golf course, swimming pool. Full hookups with CATV and fairly good internet that works most of the time. Spaces are well apart and the grass between them is pleasing and the picnic tables are well maintained. Ample garbage cans picked up by the city fairly regularly. A few trees makes this place superior to others in Fredericksburg proper.
