For Bear Creek Campground: Very dirty restrooms, not painted cleaned since whenever. This park has several permanent, terrible looking trailers, with permanent fixtures cluttered all over their site. Pictures on recreation .gov must have been taken years ago. There is no grass around campsites, all though the areas between campsites are overgrown and haven’t been attended to in a very long time. Would recommend the COE visit this campground soon to assess these deficiencies. Pass this one by.

For Bear Creek Campground: This is a no frills place, very popular during the weekends for locals, then clears out on Sunday afternoon. Has electric & water, but no water/sewage. There is a dump station n the way out. Site 25 was VERY shaded (gorgeous, huge oaks), so we lucked out there. Site19 looked neat, too.
Pretty easy to get into Ft Worth for all the awesome stuff there.
My husband tried the restroom near our site and said he would not enter it again. He’s not nearly as picky as I am. It’s a nice, clean place to stay (as long as you bring your own bathroom). If there’s a pool, playground, or laundry, we never saw it.
