For Main - Purtis Creek State Park: Stopped for an overnight here in 01/2018. Staff was extra friendly and price was very reasonable. Nice roads and beautiful scenery.

For Main - Purtis Creek State Park: Nice level spots. Not crowded, we went during the week. This was our first place we went in our trailer. We will go again. Only $20 a night.

For Main - Purtis Creek State Park: This is a very nice park, with a few drawbacks. On the plus side, the campsites are well spaced with lots of visual barrier. The 4 sites right on the lake are beautiful. Staff are friendly and fishing can be good. Nice trails, dock and fishing pier. On the downside, nearly every pad has considerable slope, so leveling RVs is a challenge. Some pads are quite narrow. Like most Texas State parks I've visited, the bathrooms are few and far between. On balance, however, the park is very nice and I'll return again.
