For Southwinds Marina on Lake: Our 3rd visit here!
It’s always so quiet & the stars at night are absolutely beautiful! The rv sites are so spacious and level & full hooks are great!! Had fun fishing, didn’t catch anything😉 but still had fun! Enjoyed going into town, went to city museum that had much about judge Roy Bean & visited the vineyard right down the road!
Just for the night or a long weekend, this is a great place!

For Southwinds Marina on Lake: Nice hidden gem. As others have noted covered patio with grill. We had 2 picnic tables. Fhu. Great views only wish there was more water, down very low. Only here overnight but looks like a place we would return to if in the area.

For Southwinds Marina on Lake: Easy in, Easy out. Very convenient location for visiting Amastad National Recreation Area. Staff was friendly, when available (COVID). Great view of the lake and easy access to the lake. Has a covered area over the picnic table for hot days. 40ft Class A with a Tow. My only complaint was that people didn't pick up after their pets. I would stay again.

For Southwinds Marina on Lake: Large spaces with covered picnic table and BBQ. Fishing, bike riding and quiet solitude. Bathrooms are so so but have decent facilities in RV. Bit of a drive to town but we brought all we needed. There will be a next time and I would stay longer. Loved it.

For Southwinds Marina on Lake: Great location and great prices. Sunrises and sunsets are out of this world. Nice place to lay over on the way to big bend national park.
