For Bolivar Peninsula RV Park: I’ll start with the positives. The place is really quiet. There is ample room for RVs. The grounds seem really clean. The office person was very friendly and helpful. There are washer and dryers on site. They are coin or app operated but you needed a code for the app.
The website makes a big deal about the new Wi-Fi, and recently renovated laundry, showers/bathrooms and dog park.
Wi-Fi was ok but seemed to chug along. My hubby and I work remotely so having good internet is necessary.
Showers/bathroom- only one was working due to plumbing problems. There is no ventilation in the bathroom/shower so there was water dripping from the ceiling. The sewage smell was also quite strong so I got in and out as quickly as I could.
We didn’t use the dog park as we were here during a cold snap and didn’t want to be outside more than we had to. It looked nice but small.
There is beach access close by - you have to cross the busy road.

For Bolivar Peninsula RV Park: Loved this place! We stayed 5 nights. Spot was good and level. Owner was so sweet and helpful! Close to beach. Close enough to Galveston without being in the hustle and bustle.
We will definitely stay here again! Wonderful!

For Bolivar Peninsula RV Park: We spent 2 days at this park a few days ago and were very disappointed. The amount of mosquitos and ants were intolerable. I realize that these pests are inevitable however it does not appear that anything at all was being done to control them. There was no way you could leave or enter your camper without letting them in. The supposed internet connection was barely usable. Unless you are a die hardy fisherman I would not recommend this park to anyone.
