For Colonia Del Rey RV Park: This is basically a trailer park with a few open spots for an RV. The office lady was very friendly and helpful. They were mowing the next day after we arrived but we were a bit concerned as to how close they came to our equipment and our satellite dish, literally within inches. Good Sams has this campground marked as 10s and 9s, not sure how they came up with those ratings. The area doesn’t seem the best. Our ‘premium’ site was barely long enough for us, a bit unlevel, and only a couple sites from the dumpster! There were a couple of empty, longer, a bit more level sites and further from the dumpster but those were being kept open if they needed a spot for a full timer. Rules state, as normal, to clean up after your dog. That rule is not enforced, we had an unpleasant mess right by our electric/ water connection and there was plenty of other ‘evidence’ throughout the park. Everyone is packed in like sardines. We were able to put out our slides.

For Colonia Del Rey RV Park: Friendly Staff we stayed over a spring break. Not the nicest area nor the nicest park. Average amenities and had a trailer park feel to it. Not worth the cost for sure. There are far better options in CC. Close to HEB and the Hwy and the water.

For Colonia Del Rey RV Park: We love it here! Grass feels like carpet and the facilities are perfectly clean and well maintained. The best part is the location! Close to stores and centrally located for all the activities we came for! Great job Colonia del Rey! Thanks for sharing your wonderful spot with us!

For Colonia Del Rey RV Park: Excellent WIFI. We stayed in mid March during Spring Break. We arrived after the office closed to find a well marked map and payment receipt on the door. Pulled into a great site to find good well located hookups. The WIFI connected easily and had plenty of speed and bandwidth. It is so rare to find a park with decent WIFI.
The park was clean, well maintained, quiet, comfortable and friendly. The sites are not large but there is plenty of room for our 40' trailer and pickup. I understand the smaller sites due to the high cost of useable land.
We would certainly stay there again.

For Colonia Del Rey RV Park: This is no more than a large trailer park. Work trailer camping. Made reservation several months in advance. Advised we are 43 ft. Long and needed a large premium pull through site. 5 day stay. Advised no problem, big rig friendly. Arrived, they obviously forgot or don't care. Stuck us in the back in a cramped what they call premium site. Way over rated and over priced. Low water pressure and low 50 amp service. The pictures of the sites are not accurate. We would never stay here again or recommend this place.

For Colonia Del Rey RV Park: Arrived to RV park at 5 pm and computer did not work so had to check in the following morning. Sites were very close together and not very pet friendly. Came back the first day from activities and found electricity had been out all day and our dog was overheated in the motorhome. They were aware of the problem and did not disclose it. We asked for a refund and they refused to give us a full refund. We challenged the charge on our credit card and got the refund but they were not willing to work with us on the refund. The grass was not mowed anywhere around the area which was not conducive to pets. Very poor service and unwilling to give us the name of the owner or manager to file a complaint with them. Stay at your own risk

For Colonia Del Rey RV Park: Booked for one month based on Good Sam rating and website. Stayed one night, had family emergency and had to leave. Colonial Del Ray has a very bad refund policy. We lost $100 deposit. Our site was so tight, we stepped off our step into dirt. Sites are very close to one another.
